Changelog
Library development, public client history and documentation changes stay distinct.
How to read this history#
Phase identifiers below are development milestones, not invented semantic releases. Where no verified release date exists, none is shown. Library phases, public Hub/client versions and website work have separate histories.
Unreleased
Development history, grouped without inventing product releases. Earlier pending-distribution entries describe their original phase; see Installation for the current verified public status.
Verified public v0.1.0 installation
- Activated official pinned Aroyn UI v0.1.0 imports in Quick Start and complete examples from one verified distribution configuration; Latest is documented as mutable.
- Clarified the owner-tested Windows PC / Potassium support boundary, remote-code trust and independent UI Library / Script Hub products.
- Prepared public documentation text while preserving legacy routes and anchors, API examples, authentic screenshots and historical records.
- Documentation responses now preserve their reviewed payload with no-transform, preventing automatic edge analytics injection from conflicting with the existing strict Content Security Policy.
Planned v0.1.0 distribution and release verification
- Prepared candidate-only installation guidance from one distribution configuration for the planned lib.aroyn.xyz host; public downloads remain pending approval and endpoint verification.
- Documented the Windows PC / Potassium user-tested support boundary and retained local installation, existing APIs, authentic captures and product separation.
Release packaging and text corrections
- Corrected three damaged apostrophes in the authentication and Greedy Growers guides.
- Prepared an isolated public documentation package retaining navigation, search, real component captures and legacy routes; standalone public installation remains pending.
Real Roblox component captures
- Authentic supplied Roblox screenshots now accompany component references, configuration, lifecycle and showcase guides; original captures are archived separately.
- Focused native-resolution crops use lossless WebP with exact pixel preservation, readable captions and descriptive alt text.
- Compact galleries preserve each image’s proportions; full-resolution links and lazy loading work without image overlays obscuring the UI.
Standalone distribution prepared locally
- Deterministic standalone artifact with the unchanged approved core, embedded logo and original seven-cell icon atlas; no Hub, gameplay, dashboard or telemetry dependencies.
- SHA256 manifest, local-dev metadata and explicit stable/Latest publication boundaries; no public version or endpoint assigned.
- Local installation instructions, placeholder remote syntax, minimal and complete examples, capability reports and distribution regression checks.
UI Library and Script Hub in one documentation platform
- Product selector and independent /ui/ and /hub/ navigation; all 28 existing UI articles and old-path compatibility aliases retained.
- 21 source-backed Script Hub guides, with pinned GitHub attribution and explicit historical/current-source differences.
- Search covers both products with readable excerpts and product labels; footer branding enlarged without changing the approved layout.
Readable search and verified component contracts
- Changelog search uses readable change descriptions and links to the matching history section instead of serialized fields. Code examples remain searchable.
- Component reference audited against the current local core; validation, normalization and setter behavior clarified without changing the library.
- Reusable responsive, accessible screenshot blocks with optional captions and full-size links are ready for real captures; no pending image placeholders were added.
- Documentation regression checks expanded for every code-copy button, component examples, search snippets and navigation.
- Escape closes the search dialog immediately even with a nonempty query, returning focus to its trigger.
A dedicated developer reference
- English documentation for the implemented local API, onboarding, components, overlays, configuration and lifecycle.
- Static three-column layout, local search, keyboard navigation and copyable highlighted examples.
- Separated product histories and explicit compatibility/distribution limits.
Documentation website
Local documentation work. Phase 8C is Unreleased; it does not change the library or public Hub client.
Unified product documentation
- Separate product routes, sidebars, breadcrumbs and adjacent-article navigation.
- Source-to-page provenance and search for both product areas.
Developer reference and quality pass
- 28 API articles, verified examples, local search and copy controls.
- Readable changelog excerpts and optional real-screenshot infrastructure.
UI library
Verified development milestones. Phase names are not release versions.
Integration audit and PC verification
- Regression coverage for configuration, overlay/input arbitration and cleanup.
- Diagnostic runner path guard corrected without changing the embedded core.
- User-reported Potassium PC diagnostic: 11 PASS, 0 FAIL, 1 cleanup SKIP; subsequent manual approval. Mobile and other executors remain unverified.
Preferences and API audit
- Flag-based named Save/Load/List/Delete/Reset, opt-in AutoSave/AutoLoad and Session fallback.
- Versioned JSON schema, silent restoration and documented storage limits.
- Documentation/API audit, complete examples and mock regression checks.
Notifications and adaptive dialogs
- Bounded toast/dialog queues, protected callbacks and modal input gating.
- Adaptive description measurement and safe viewport sizing.
- Notification stack moved to the bottom-right while preserving style and queue behavior.
Keybind and ColorPicker
- Binding capture, activation modes and RGB/HSV popup selection.
- Hex helpers and coordination with other popups.
Slider and Dropdown
- Stepped sliders, single/multi selection and scrollable popups.
- Trigger/outside click arbitration fixed; same-trigger clicks toggle correctly.
- Above/below anchored expansion and collapse fixed, including reversals.
Reusable foundation and native motion
- Standalone/attached windows, pages, sections and basic reusable controls.
- Page transitions, control feedback and floating window-to-icon morph.
- CanvasGroup/scale rendering regression addressed using native Frames and targeted motion.
Visual foundation
- Refined typography, graphite surfaces, compact navigation and consistent spacing in the local UI Lab.
Hub / client
Public client versions belong to Aroyn Hub, not the reusable library.
Dashboard linking, within reach
- The mobile Connect dashboard action scrolls to the actual connection settings.
Pet care, touch scrolling and domain updates
- Hunger-based pet feeding, direct collection and compact mobile controls in the public client.
- Website links use aroyn.xyz. These Hub changes do not establish reusable-library mobile compatibility.
The library connected to Greedy Growers
- Existing gameplay connected through local controllers with explicit activation and separate configuration namespace.
- Local navigation-icon mapping and rendering hotfixes belong to this integration workspace. No production publication in Phase 6A.
Website / documentation
Local website milestones are separate from client versions.
Distinct UI Docs and Hub Docs entry points
- Compact documentation menu and separate UI/Hub links on the local homepage and footer.
- Preview destinations use local documentation routes; future public origin remains a configurable build choice, not a deployed service.
Expanded product homepage
- Capability-based product explanations, screenshots and a maintainable client changelog.
- Changelog entry points near the top, a translucent header and no background-pause button.
Keeping the record current#
For a substantial feature, improvement or fix, add a concise entry to the appropriate category in content/changelog.json. Keep historical entries. Record local work under Unreleased until publication is explicitly authorized. Small cosmetic edits do not require invented versions.
